The next place we went to was in Cornwall and we stayed with friends of Maggie and Stephen. Nigel had a yacht and we went sailing in it all the way to the English Channel. That night we got to sleep on it. That was exciting. While we were sailing near the naval base a big warship came along and we had to get out of its way. There was even a submarine tied up at the wharf. We weren't allowed to get too close or the police patrol boat would come and chase us away.

Bath
Tuesday 24 July
Today we went to a city called Bath. It was built in the days of the Romans and they built these huge hot water swimming pools. There is a big hot spring of water coming out of the ground that they use. Today you are only allowed to look at them but hundreds of years ago the Romans all used them for swimming and taking bath.

Camping
The UK is such a busy place. There are so many cars and the roads are very busy. It is suppose to be summer here but we have had lots of rain. We hope it gets sunny soon.
We got to stay in a place called Northampton with Jessica and Andrew (Maggie's daughter) for a couple of days before we got a rental car and went camping. Each day we visit some interesting places like big old houses that have beautiful gardens. We got to see some special big stones called stone henges.
They are thousands of years old and made into a big circle. The picture we took has Maggie in it.
Sitting in our tent enjoying the views.

Today they fly to the UK
Kermit and Dooby Bear are very excited and nervous. Today is the day that they get to fly on the big jet to the UK. They had to be at the airport by 8am to check in their bags.
They were very lucky to get their own seat on the plane. It is a long way.
There are movies to watch and some computer games to play on their very own computer screen. It is on the back of the seat in front of them. They watched The Lorax first and then played Elephant Memory and Pokeman Yellow. The first part of the trip was 12 hours.
Then they got to have swim at Singapore airport before getting back on the plane and flying another 12 hours.
